In the ground, flowers are hydrated and nourished by a brilliant root system.
In the vase, they rely on your TLC to hit their highest DYP (Dazzle You Potential).
Nurture your blooms, and they'll nurture you right back!

A few additional points:
🌺 Temporary treasures. Whether they're growing in the ground, or snipped in your vase, flowers don't last forever. In the field, once they're pollinated, blooms move along with their life cycle, fading and transitioning to seed production. When harvested properly, many blooms actually last longer in the vase than they do in the field. But the only way to get an everlasting bouquet, is to select flowers that dry well, such as Statice, Gomphrena or Celosia (or shop the silk flower aisle at Hobby Lobby).
🌺All blooms are not created equal. Dahlias are notoriously gorgeous and notoriously short-lived, sometimes lasting only 3 days in a well-kept vase. On the other sided of the spectrum, Lisianthus can easily thrive over 2 weeks in an arrangement. If vase life is a concern, we can help you make the best choice for your desired outcome.
🌺Wilters Anonymous. Some species of flowers have a problematic time getting hydrated. A simple treatment called "Quick Dip" can help. We keep it on hand and use it for highly sensitive blooms, like baptisia and lilacs, but it can bring emergency hydration to many varieties of wilted blooms. If you'd like some for your bloom stash, we carry it at the market stand.
